1. Local characteristics and performance analysis

● Stator:

The stator is composed of a base, a stator core and a stator winding.

The frame is welded by steel plates, the structure is light and strong, and the frame is divided into many air inlet and outlet areas along the axial direction;

Stator coil:

It is made of multiple strands of polyester fiberglass-covered copper wire, and adopts a semi-group blue structure (some adopts transposition structure); the insulation grade of the coil is F grade, and the mica tape is continuously wrapped and molded. The end of the coil is made of weftless tape or The polyester glass rope is tied tightly with the bracket and the binding ring, so that the unit has a high tolerance to sudden short circuits.

Stator core:

The stator core is made of cold-rolled non-oriented, high-permeability, low-loss, high-quality silicon steel sheets that are punched and laminated. Both sides of the silicon steel sheets are coated with a strong insulating paint film to prevent short circuits between the stator core sheets and reduce eddy current loss.

Generator rotor:

The rotor is composed of a rotating shaft, a coil, a center ring, a guard ring, a fan ring, etc. The rotor coil is wound by cold-drawn flat copper wire and subjected to oxygen-free annealing. The rotor coils of 50MW and above steam turbine generators are tailor-welded with silver-containing cold drawn copper wires, and are insulated with class F.

The guard ring located at the end of the rotor coil is made of non-magnetic steel. Both ends of the rotor are equipped with centrifugal fans or axial fans with blades forged from high-strength aluminum alloy.

Rotor processing:

The rotating shaft of the generator is forged from a whole high-quality alloy steel. Axial slot is machined on it to embed the rotor coil, and the large teeth are provided with ventilation slots or crescent slots to enhance the cooling of the body and coil ends. , It adopts the special CNC milling machine for the rotor of Italian tower base generator to ensure the efficiency of the generator.

The generator rotor must undergo high-speed dynamic balance experiment and dynamic variable current impedance experiment before leaving the factory to test the mechanical strength of the rotor and ensure excellent inter-turn insulation of the rotor winding.


2. Cooling method

The steam turbine generator adopts closed air self-circulation ventilation method.

Turbine generator rotors below 50MW adopt indirect ventilation cooling;

The rotor of 50MW and above steam turbine generator adopts direct ventilation and cooling. The rotor winding slot is milled with auxiliary slots, and the rotor winding is milled with ventilation holes. Under the action of the fan head and the centrifugal pressure head of the rotor winding vent, the cold air passes through Secondary slots and ventilation holes directly cool the rotor windings.


3. Excitation method

The turbine generator produced can adopt three excitation methods: static thyristor, two-unit AC brushless excitation and three-unit AC brushless excitation.


4. Insulation system

It adopts F-class insulation material and insulation structure, and is evaluated according to the B-class insulation level during operation, and a certain degree is reserved.


5. Design and acceptance criteria

The design, production, and acceptance are carried out in accordance with the latest standards of relevant countries, and at the same time meet the requirements of the latest standards of the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC34-1. According to customer requirements, the turbine generators produced can also be designed, manufactured and inspected in accordance with ANSI, NEMA and other international standards.
