At 16: 36 p.m. on May 24th, 2021, witnessed by more than 40 industry experts and customer representatives, such as Academician Duo Ji of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor Dai Yiping of Xi 'an Jiaotong University, the 300kW organic Rankine cycle (hereinafter referred to as "ORC") experimental power station independently developed by Dongfang Steam Turbine Co., Ltd. of Dongfang Electric Group successfully realized full load. As the expert leader Professor Dai Yiping solemnly announced: "The witness ceremony was successfully completed!" There was a big round of applause! The successful completion of full-load test indicates that the enterprise has the capability of independent research and development and construction of ORC power plant.

The ORC test power station generates electricity under design and partial load conditions respectively, and there is no working fluid leakage on site. The design value is in good agreement with the test value, and it has successfully passed all the scheduled test items. It can operate efficiently and stably within the full power range, and can be flexibly controlled under off-design conditions, meeting the engineering application requirements.

In recent three years, Dongfang Steam Turbine has successively completed scientific research projects such as "Research on Low-temperature Heat Source Power Generation Technology of Organic Rankine Cycle" and "Research and Development on Key Technologies of Geothermal Power Generation" in order to break through the key technologies of domestic independent ORC power generation, and invested a large amount of research and development funds to build a 300kW ORC test power station. Completed dozens of ORC project consultation, and formed the ORC power generation equipment plan reserve of 100 kilowatts to 10 megawatts. It has the EPC capability of small and medium-sized ORC power stations, which can provide complete solutions for medium and low temperature industrial waste heat power generation and geothermal power generation.
