Why should the turbine be vacuumized? Today xiaobian take you to understand this problem.
After vacuumization, the exhaust pressure and temperature decrease, which is manifested as the increase of pressure difference and temperature drop, resulting in the increase of enthalpy difference between inlet and outlet, and the increase of turbine output and work. It can improve the efficiency of steam heat energy utilization and improve the quality of condensate.
Steam flow in a steam turbine is continuous and high-speed, and the flow per unit area can be large, so it can emit large power. High power steam turbines can use higher steam pressure and temperature, so high thermal efficiency.
There is a large amount of air inside the steam turbine before it starts in cold state. If it is not vacuumized, it will bring the following hazards:
(1) When turning, a lot of steam is needed to overcome the friction resistance in the bearing and the inertia force of the rotor, so that the blade is increased by the steam impact force.
(2) Due to the existence of air in the cylinder, the friction effect of unstepped blades is intensified and the exhaust temperature increases.
(3) Because of the existence of air in the condenser, the heat exchange of soda water in the condenser is weakened, causing the exhaust temperature to rise, and the metal deformation of the cylinder; coagulation the expansion port of the copper tube of the junction is relaxed, causing water leakage.
(4) Because the air does not condense, the exhaust pressure of the steam turbine rises, causing the safety door action of the condenser.
The above is the main content about why the steam turbine should be vacuumized. I hope it can help you. If you have any questions about steam turbines, please contact us.
