- Serpentine is mainly composed of pipes, connecting accessories and hanging devices. The components of serpentine tube structure in boiler generally include superheater, reheater and economizer, etc.

- The function of superheater is to heat saturated steam into superheated steam at a certain temperature. According to the different arrangement position and heat transfer mode, superheating can be divided into rear panel superheater, final superheater, vertical low temperature superheater and horizontal low temperature superheater, etc.

- Reheater is generally used in high-pressure large-scale utility boilers, and its function is to send the steam that has done part of the work in the high-pressure cylinder of steam turbine back to the boiler for reheating, and then send it back to the middle and low-pressure cylinders of steam turbine to continue to do work.
